American Disposal Services Announces the Opening of Its Fifth Facility in Tilden, Texas

Houston, TX (April 10, 2015)

American Disposal Services (ADS) an industry leader in the disposal of injectable oilfield waste – announced today the opening of its fifth oilfield waste facility in Tilden, Texas. ADS accepts oilfield waste streams and injects them over a mile below the earth’s surface, where they are safely sequestered beneath multiple confining layers of stone.

Gabriel Rio, President & Chief Executive Officer of ADS, states, “We’re thrilled to be able to offer oilfield operators in McMullen County a safe, environmentally sustainable solution for the disposal of oilfield waste. This addition of our fifth operating facility reflects our commitment to continue to develop our network throughout the oilfield, and to always be nearby our customers.”

The new facility, which is nearly identical to the recently built ADS Fashing and Dilley facilities, joins four existing disposal sites in Texas. ADS is recognized for its expertise in driving innovations to shape the future of environmentally sustainable disposal of non-hazardous injectable oilfield waste, including drilling muds/fluids, tank bottoms, completion fluids and produced saltwater.

In 2016, ADS plans to construct multiple new facilities in major US E&P basins. These new facilities join five existing locations in South and East Texas, where ADS has been a premium provider of injectable oilfield waste disposal, operating for more than 20 years.

ADS is an industry-leading innovator and one of the first companies in the U.S. to commercially use slurry injection, a process that has set new standards for efficiency and environmental security for managing oilfield wastes. ADS is backed by Intervale Capital, a private equity firm investing exclusively in oilfield manufacturing and service companies.
